It’s hard to find a good, reliable, long-lasting coffee maker these days. I have a black model, with a gold basket replacing the paper filters. I’ve had problems with the auto shut-off not working correctly and flooding the basket; grounds floated everywhere and it ran onto the counter. But the biggest problem is leakage. My coffee maker leaks when I put in water and let it sit overnight with the timer on. I noticed that I only got about half a cup, and then found a puddle of water on the countertop.
